Excellent product by Krups. Exact fit for proper operation of appliance. Second carafe replacement (both cracked) but first from amazon.com.
The only down side is the price. Krups replacement carafe arrived quickly and with a lid. Other sites offered same carafe at same price, without lid. You can buy a MR COFFEE coffee maker with the same size carafe and at the same price as the Krups replacement carafe. Not sure the quality is the same, but maybe.
I purcahsed this item and returned it. Because it didn't fit my unit, it had stated that it was a replacement item for the unit.
I'm happy that I'm able to continue to use my favorite coffeemaker. This Carafe is as good or better than the original, arrived quickly, and I was brewing coffee the next morning.
We are pleased with the replacement carafe and it works well although I'm glad I read the reviews which said to keep your old carafe top, this is very important as we have an older machine. The new carafe top has a slightly different center that does not fit the older Krups machine where the coffee drops into the carafe. The older top fits the new carafe, although a bit loose.
